INTRODUCTION

The Major Projects Delivery Group is the regular forum for major regeneration projects to meet. The Group works in partnership with all relevant central and regional government departments to:

• Enhance the policy development process
• Influence the policy agenda and debate
• Share best practice between the projects
• Commission research
• Use of the Internet to transfer and share data

The Group operates within an agreed terms of reference with a chairman and representation from each local authority and a member representing each key regional and central government agency.

The projects all meet the following membership criteria:

• Major regeneration projects in London that are led by Local Authorities
• Subject to a Masterplan
• Building in excess of 2000 new homes
• Development of associated major social infrastructure
• In accordance with the CLG mixed communities agenda
