London’s Energy Future

Future of London and University College London held the first in a series of events convening academics and practitioners to examine the challenges facing London over the next fifty years. This first event focussed on London’s energy future, and brought together sector specialists to debate the technological and policy challenges facing practitioners in the coming years to ensure that London has a forward looking energy strategy, that is resilient to major global shifts. We heard from Prof. Paul Ekins, UCL Energy Institute; Prof. Bob Lowe, UCL Energy Institute; Peter North, Senior Manager – Programme Delivery (Sustainable Energy), GLA; and, Bob Fiddik, Head of Sustainable Development, LB Croydon.
