Future of London is delighted to welcome new Future London Leaders sponsor Re to the Future of London network. Re, a joint venture between Capita plc and London Borough of Barnet, provides development and regulatory services to residents in Barnet and the South East.
Director John Bandler says:
Creating successful places is woven into Re’s DNA so the FoL leadership programme is the perfect sponsorship fit for us. We have long admired the work of FoL and it’s great to be able to support the regeneration and economic development leaders of the future.
Re joins long-time supporter Lovell in sponsoring Future London Leaders. Since its first round, Lovell – the nation’s complete housing specialist – has championed the programme across London’s public and private sector.
Visakha Sri Chandrasekera, Lovell’s Regional Business Development Manager, says:
From inception Lovell has been delighted to support Future London Leaders and to see it’s strength and reputation grow, attracting new membership and now new sponsorship from Re. Supporting the emerging leaders of regeneration in London is an essential investment in the future and the communities we build for.
Since it began April 2010, Future of London’s Leaders programmes have stretched across London’s public sector. Now in its seventh round, Future London Leaders nurtures the development of early to mid-career professionals, giving them the skills, networks and policy knowledge necessary to progress in their careers, and make a positive impact in London. This year, it was joined by the new Leaders Plus programme, a “next level” for for practitioners at a more advanced stage of their career.
As Future of London’s Leaders programmes continue to grow, so does our alumni network. This summer, we’re passing the 100 mark – 106, in fact! – and we’re throwing a party on July 2nd to celebrate. In addition to the graduations of both Future London Leaders Round Seven and our first Leaders Plus cohort, we’ll be bringing together past candidates, mentors and programme providers to mark this milestone. If you’re amongst these alumni, please get in touch with us for event details.
With this continued growth, there are also new opportunities for organisations to support the Leaders programmes. As a not-for-profit organisation, we depend upon sponsorship contributions to support our work. If you or your organisation are interested in sponsoring our work, please contact Future of London director Lisa Taylor.
