Future of London’s 2016 Workspace that Works programme showed that SME workspace is vital to bringing life to London’s communities, generating innovation, sustaining local economies, and supporting skills development. Co-working space is now one of London’s most active property sectors, and finding the right partner – for the space, tenure, management capacity, risk appetite and type of occupier – is key.
This event will build on the success of our 2016 matching event which hosted 90 regeneration professionals representing 60 cross-sector organisations. The very well-received afternoon was part of a year-long programme which engaged over 450 decision-makers.
The 2017 event will provide opportunities for public- and private-sector property owners, developers and their advisors to meet experienced workspace operators and learn about options.
Attendees will also have opportunities to learn first-hand about different workspace models and their benefits; to meet known and next-gen London operators; and to both quiz them and talk up the space on offer, since this is an increasingly competitive area.
Seminars at the event will highlight best practice in linking SME workspace provision to regeneration priorities and offer insight into different models and funding opportunities.
A directory of attending operators and property owners/agents will help guests find the right opportunities, network over drinks, and touch base after the event.
