Eddie joined Future of London in September 2022 as Head of Communications and Engagement. He has worked in local government, housing and public policy communications for over 20 years.

Before joining Future of London, Eddie was Head of Communications at Capital Letters, a not-for-profit company founded by London boroughs to increase the supply of private rented properties to house homeless families. Previously he was Head of External Communications for Homes England, the government’s housing accelerator.

Eddie has been Head of Communications for two local authorities – Oxfordshire County Council and the London Borough of Redbridge. In Oxfordshire, he worked on several public engagement projects related to the built environment, including a major transport scheme to improve connectivity into and around Oxford. Eddie was previously Head of Communications at the Improvement and Development Agency for Local Government (IDeA).

Eddie started his PR career as communications manager at Demos, the independent think tank where he managed events, publishing and external communications. Previously, Eddie was a journalist for numerous magazines and newspapers, including The Guardian, The Scotsman and Glasgow-based Sunday Herald.
