Emerging Talent Programme Manager
We’re looking for a progressive HR manager to lead the launch and delivery of a game-changing professional development initiative bringing a new, diverse wave of talent to the housing and regeneration sectors in London.
Over the last year, working in partnership with housing consultancy Altair and a group of committed co-designers Future of London has designed the innovative new Emerging Talent Programme (ETP). This programme will offer an entry level 21-month rotational placement programme to ambitious BAME candidates with the potential for leadership. The programme will offer participants a unique public-private experience, mentoring and career and leadership development opportunities.
We are now looking for an ambitious project manager to lead the pilot programme forward through the exciting phase of initiation, launch and delivery. You’ll be rapidly establishing strong relationships with the programme hosts and partners, creating a promotion strategy, devising and managing the application process, refining a training programme with mentoring, and designing a programme assessment methodology that helps to build a case for the Emerging Talent Programme’s legacy.
This role reports to the Chief Executive, involves close working with the Head of Leadership responsible for FoL’s other leadership programmes and the wider FoL team on content integration and timing. You will line manage a dedicated admin assistant to support the ETP in the set-up phase (first six months).

Salary: £55k (prorated to £44K for four days per week)
