Sophie works on various research projects and helps shape Future of London’s overall programme. She’s currently working on FoL’s major 2020 project Achieving Net Zero, and undertaking research and interviews for a project commissioned by Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity that’s exploring the effect of housing on health inequalities.

Before joining the FoL team, she worked as an editor at a business writing consultancy, an editorial assistant at a French Studies journal and an English teacher at various language schools around the world. She’s also worked as a freelance writer, editor and proofreader, and as a tour guide leading walking tours around historic districts of Paris and London.

Sophie has an MSc in Urban Studies from University College London, an MA in Paris Studies from the University of London Institute in Paris, and a BA in English Literature and History from Trinity College Dublin.
