This is fantastic opportunity to join our small, diverse and fast-moving team in a critical role that will shape city leadership now and for future generations, and help develop and nurture people who can deliver viable and more equitable places.
You will guide the quality and growth of London’s most sought-after urban professional development courses: Future London Leaders and Leaders Plus. You will also take forward our Council-Led Housing Forum, establishing it as the trusted forum for boroughs and partners to share knowledge and experience; as such, you’ll have a real impact on the capital’s ability to deliver housing, especially affordable housing. You’ll explore and market-test new course options, working with the team, members and associates, and to support all of this, you’ll also work closely with the CEO and Head of Networks on business development, identifying potential partners, drafting proposals and joining pitches.
The ideal candidate will be as passionate about cities as we are, be entrepreneurial in his/her approach, and want to actively help cross-sector practitioners deliver a more liveable London. You will have a strong track record in programme management, preferably within professional development; will have a diverse and effective network in the London public and/or private sector; and be an excellent communicator, specifically in public speaking and in written content such as project briefs, bids and online content.

A great opportunity for an experienced programme or events manager or PA looking to move into the built environment sector, or to work within a more senior, London-wide network.
You will be the lynch pin for three of our core programmes. Future London Leaders and Leaders Plus support the next wave of senior decision makers in housing, planning, regeneration and infrastructure. The Council-Led Housing Forum brings together boroughs from across the capital to share innovation and best practice in a new era of councils building their own affordable homes.
Working with the Head of Leadership, you’ll support the delivery of a busy programme of events ranging from seminars and workshops to networking and field trips. You’ll be working with a dynamic, diverse range of participants from practitioners at the start of their leadership journey to Executive Directors and CEOs driving change in London.
You will be responsible for managing logistics; dealing professionally with candidates, mentors, suppliers and sponsors and helping to source speakers. Working with the Head of Leadership, you will help drive the quality and growth of the programmes.
