Affordable housing: Overcoming crisis through collaboration – launch event

Join us on 28 April 2022 for an online panel launching Affordable housing: Overcoming crisis through collaboration, which will examine if better collaboration has the potential to help unlock the affordable housing crisis.

We will kick-start the programme by interrogating how the sector is currently prioritising urgent and competing demands, such as: rising construction costs, Net Zero targets, new fire safety standards, changing building regulations, Brexit, and the fall-out from Covid. Our panel will then debate how collaborative working can help us to negotiate and balance these issues.

This will be a practical analysis of challenges the sector faces, but it will also inspire hope; offering collaboration as a way forward for organisations navigating the complexities of the current housing landscape.

This webinar is suitable for those involved in financing, planning, designing, building and managing affordable housing, as well as those working in regeneration and infrastructure. The session's focus on collaborative working also makes this relevant for the wider built environment community, as well as those working in tangential disciplines.

When: Thursday 28 April 2022, 9am to 10.15am
Format: Zoom webinar
