As Future of London’s major 2021 programme, Building Recovery: Closing the Gap comes to an end, we invite you to join us for the launch of our recommendations report.
Over the past nine months, the programme has shared successful approaches to tackling the equity gap from across the capital, and drawn on lessons from other UK and overseas cities.
Linking to London’s Covid recovery missions, the themes of the programme have included: upskilling for green and growth industries, affordable homes, public space, transport, and culture and the arts in London and beyond.
Building Recovery - Solutions for a fair recovery addresses the challenges we uncovered in the Building Recovery - Insights report published last summer. To help city makers tackle inequalities through their work in regeneration, housing, infrastructure and economic development, our latest report offers inspirational case studies and practical ideas.
Our recommendations provide the tools and momentum for practitioners across the built environment sector to become positive change makers, ready to work with communities to do things differently and create a fair and inclusive recovery.
To launch the report, we'll outline our key findings and hear from Sripriya Sudhakar, Head of Regeneration, LB Tower Hamlets, on what these recommendations mean for the sector. The event will also provide time for discussion and networking.
When: Thursday 24 February 2022, 10am to 12pm
