We cannot expect the health crisis to be solved by health colleagues alone. As put forward in a report published in October 2021 by the Institute of Health Equity: "It is not the responsibility of one person or system to reduce health inequality, but the collective and collaborative accountability of all".
Future of London's Healthy neighbourhoods: working together programme highlighted how the built environment and health sectors can work more effectively together to address health inequalities.
Join us for the launch of the programme's final report, where we'll present our practical recommendations for anyone looking to work better with health colleagues for positive outcomes in urban health. Dan Barrett from Thrive LDN will provide his reflections, with a specific focus on how we can collaborate to address the mental health of Londoners.
This event is open to all and we encourage attendees to bring their comments, ideas and questions which we will pick up on in the audience Q&A.
When: Thursday 03 March 2022, 2 pm to 3.30 pm
Format: Zoom meeting
With guest speakers
Dan Barrett - Director, Thrive LDN
Merron Simpson - Chief Executive Officer, The Health Creation Alliance
