Future of London’s free best-practice events include workshops, seminars, field trips, roundtables and conferences, most of which are available online. FoL events bring together members, project partners and cross-sector contributors from our wider network, both as attendees and speakers. Spaces, Places and Sociality
On the day before the UK’s second national lockdown is due to lift, we’ll debate the role that the built environment can play in fostering social interaction – both within the ‘new normal’ but also thinking beyond to the post-Covid city.

Tackling the Growing Affordable Housing Challenge
There are four challenges currently on the table for housing providers: new fire safety regulations, net zero targets, Brexit and, in the wake Covid-19, an uncertain economic climate. And, on 23 November, the GLA’s new Affordable Housing Programme will be announced. This webinar will explore the impact of these interrelated pressures on housing development and finance in the capital.
