From data to decisions: Accelerating digital transformation – report launch

Organisational barriers are holding back digital transformation in the built environment sector, not a lack of technical solutions. Join us for the online launch of our research-backed toolkit to find out how to accelerate change in your organisation.

Future of London and Queen Mary University of London have explored how organisations across the built environment are using data and digital tools to improve decision-making. The findings point to a clear message: the biggest barriers to digital transformation are not technical, they are organisational.

We interviewed senior leaders across housing, planning and development to identify the success factors in digital transformation and what gets in the way.

Join us for the online launch of our new report, From data to decisions: accelerating digital transformation, where we will share the key findings and introduce a practical toolkit to help organisations build confidence, strengthen their use of data, and move beyond individual pilots towards lasting change.

What to expect

At this launch, we’ll share the findings of the research and introduce a practical toolkit to put them into action.

Key findings, we’ll explore three areas critical to successful digital transformation:

  • Culture and leadership: creating the conditions for experimentation and change
  • People and adoption: building confidence and practical opportunities to use new tools
  • Data, processes and scale: strengthening data, governance and interoperability, and moving beyond pilots

Perspectives from across the sector,  learn what the findings mean in practice from public and private sector experts and find out how organisations can create the conditions for digital transformation.
