Cordelia is a strategic leader with 15+ years’ experience of leading diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), social mobility and talent development initiatives in different sectors. At BT Group, Cordelia was pivotal to creating the first set of comprehensive DEI goals and targets, weaving DEI into the company’s Responsible Business agenda, designing the first group-wide psychologically safe reciprocal mentoring programme, and spearheading the first ethnicity pay gap report. In recognition of her impact, she was awarded the 2024 BT Group Race Equity award.
Her other roles have included developing bespoke leadership programmes for the National Grid and London Metropolitan Police; leading a nationwide DEI strategic review at the NSPCC; and providing DEI consulting services to organisations including Tesco, Clarks and Ministry of Justice. As Operations Director at a youth employability charity, she led 50+ CSR initiatives involving corporate sponsors and universities; and as Business Development manager at a digital inclusion charity, she supported community-based charities across southern England.  A Clore Social Fellow, and trained Coach, Cordelia regularly delivers talks and seminars, and she’s a board member at a multi academy trust comprising 10 schools that supports approx. 7,000 children.
In 2023, Cordelia received the Baton Awards’ ‘Thought Leader of the Year’ award. In 2024, she was selected as a UN Women UK delegate to the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68), and also as a “Community Champion” by the Commonwealth Business Women Africa (CBW-Africa).
