Future London Leaders
Future London Leaders is designed for those about to manage a team, or who have started to lead but would like some support. The six-month course includes leadership skills modules; field trips and case studies; an ethics seminar based on a cohort theme; and a personally matched mentor. Candidates graduate after presenting their ‘Proposal for London’ to an invited audience. Read more here.
London Leaders Plus
Leaders Plus offers advanced leadership development for people navigating increased risk and responsibility. The 9-month course includes leadership skills; expert insights from sector leaders; field trips and mentoring from the UK’s top urban practitioners. To graduate, candidates present a ‘Proposal for London’ to an audience of champions and challengers. Read more here.
GM Leaders Plus
Launched in 2020, this senior leadership course is for cross-sector practitioners on their way to senior roles. It runs in parallel with London Leaders Plus, with a range of disciplines that reflect GM’s devolution journey and built environment community. The 9-month course is a catalyst for connection and insight, and the growing GM Alumni Network is already making waves across the region. Read more here
GM Future Leaders
This 6-month programme is a game-changer for those advancing from technical or project management to team or stakeholder leadership. It’s designed to build professional confidence, connection and awareness of other ‘place’ sectors. Participants take part in leadership skills workshops, field trips, mentoring and a final small-group Proposal for GM. Read more here
Emerging Talent Programme
The Emerging Talent Programme is a two-year course with cross-sector placements designed to reach out to under-represented groups; offer an inclusive entry point into the housing and regeneration sectors; and fast-track a new, diverse generation of leaders. Read more here.
